I would like to just let you know a bit about me and this site. I have played in this League now for around 18 years (in only 2 teams) and love my thursday night's out playing Pool and enjoying the hospitality of the local Bars and Inns ( sometimes a little too much, according to my wife ). The League as far as I can tell has been in existance for around 30 years and I have been part of the Committee for the last 6 years first as a committee member then as Chairman and now as the Secretary. The League itself is a friendly albeit a very competitive league and enjoys a regular 200 players a season playing in my opinion at quite a high level, but always in a friendly and honest way. There is always friendly banter and micky taking during matches that adds to the enjoyment and makes this league one of the more enjoyable and fun leagues to play in.

This site has now been available to the league for the last season and a half and started as a experiment on my part but has now become a personal labour of love. I am open to any suggestions for the site and if anybody has any ideas for it or would like to see anything added then E mail and I'll see what I can do, theres a link on most pages and one just below, go on you know you want too!!! All I can say is thankyou to all those that use the site and especially to all who have personally thanked me on thursday nights throughout the last 18 months, as I say this has now become a personal labour of love for me and hope that it is enjoyed by all that use it.
